Join Online Gaming Radio’s Luxx and Akira (aka Svoald of the Podcast of Reckoning) as they air a live talkshow from Las Vegas, telling all about their experience at the 2008 SOE FanFaire!

The show starts at 1:00p PST and will cover a wide variety of the games Sony Online Entertainment has been showcasing for everyone at the convention; including the two new expansions for the EverQuest games, The Agency, Pirates of the Burning Sea and Sony’s latest gems in development: DC Universe and FreeRealms.
Also covered will be Saturday’s panel listing and what everyone can look forward to hearing about after the event!

Sorry all, we are not going to be able to have a show this week.  It seems that Steve was wandering through Elwynn Forest singing his all-time favorite tune A Candle in the Wind, and he happened to wander across a kobold camp.  Those kobolds, being the smart creatures they are, thought he was trying to take their candle… and we all know how kobolds feel about their candles.

Hopefully we will be able to come up with the ransom and get Steve back by next week.  Until then, make sure to stop by the forums and start posting those mock achievements.

SOE Fanfaire 2008 is just around the corner. The events run August 14-17th and Online Gaming Radio will be there!

Tune in and join Akira, Luxx, and Dellmon as they broadcast live from the Las Vegas Hilton. Individual recordings and interviews will take place at random times during the event. Additionally we have some very exciting news!

For those who enjoyed it last year, Online Gaming Radio will again be offering live VIDEO feed coverage! This will include video from SOE round table discussions and those attending the different live events.

The Online Gaming Radio staff attending Fan Faire will also be hosting the radio stream at several points throughout the trip. Our official “Fan Faire show” times will be announced on Friday for the Saturday airing however it will be conducted straight from the floor of Fan Faire. This year we will not be manning a booth, however we will be ransacking other booths and making our rounds. Our presence should be easy to spot, look for the guys in the white OGRe shirts lugging a laptop and video equipment. Make sure to stop us and say, Hello! Who knows what kind of goodies you can get out us.

If you can’t attend Fan Faire this year, you can at least be a part of the event remotely! Visit our website at different points during the event for full coverage of interviews, podcasts, pictures, and game reviews. When we are not streaming a live scheduled show or live video coverage, remain tuned in for the periodic updates and recaps on our main audio stream.

For those who visit our forums, this news is for you (and if you don’t… shame on you!) - we’ve updated 1 section on the forum profiles menu.

When you open your profile settings, there is a section which inquires as to which show(s) you call “home”.  This section has been long in waiting for an update.  It now reflects all of our shows including the newest ones, The Weekend Warriors, Podcast of Reckoning, and Age of Conuns.

While adding all of the shows I was shocked when I realized: OGR now has 10 shows in total who call OGR their home!  Seriously awesome.

Anyway, pop into our forums, register, and start posting!  Let us know that we have living breathing listeners.

It’s Monday morning and time for another Age of Conuns! Alright so here we are at Dragonflight and we did the show yesterday and it went very well and we got a few really good interviews with some very interesting people. Hopefully we have more coming today as well. So over the next few weeks we should have some great stuff for you!

We would also like to send out a great big huge thank you to everyone at the Dragonflight convention all the staff and vendors who were so nice and helped to make this year another great year for us here and the con!
